Brief
Design a logo for the Jemâa-el-fna project (a website about morroco's traditional oral inheritance). It needs to link tradition and modernity. (also see the presentation booklet)

Solution
A design inspired by the traditional kufi calligraphies visible on a lot of monuments around the Jemaa-el-Fna square in Marrakesh. The geometrical shape also reminds the contemporary pixel designs.
